Local Senior Centers

Your neighborhood Senior Center offers a broad range of activities, social groups and resources. Some we're most familiar with:
1. The Community for Positive Aging (formerly: Hollywood Senior Center)
2. Gresham Senior Center
3. Milwaukie Senior Center

Bowling

Get physically active and make some memories! Bowling is an incredibly inclusive and adaptable activity, with options for using bumpers or a bowling ramp. You can even bowl while seated on a walker or wheelchair.

Fishing

There are a few ADA-friendly fishing spots around Portland, Oregon you can check out. Blue Lake Regional Park is one easy example (the bonus here is that their fishing docks are solid and fenced, reducing the risk of folks with perception or balance challenges falling into the water). If you're going with someone and sharp hooks are a concern, you could swap the hooks for weights or use cutters to remove them from flies.
